BOCA RATON, FL - Police say an alleged drunk driver has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal collision in Boca Raton last year, according to Boca News Now.

60-year-old Miguel Oduardo of Boca Raton was taken into custody for the incident that occurred in November 2021 on Yamato Road.  Investigators said Oduardo was driving a vehicle when he made a turn and allegedly cut in front of a motorcycle driven by 40-year-old Eric Brown and caused a crash. Brown, a Boca Raton resident, was pronounced dead later at Delray Medical Center.

Police said Oduardo's blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit at the time of the accident, and he has now been booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on a charge of DUI manslaughter.
