News: Car accident at Miramar intersection kills 1, injures 3
MIRAMAR, FL – A car accident in Miramar early Sunday morning left one person dead and three others injured, according to WSVN.
Police said two vehicles were involved in the collision in the area of Island Drive and Pembroke Road that occurred at about 3:40 a.m.
One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene while three other people were seriously injured and taken to area hospitals.
Pembroke Road was closed in both directions from Oleander Drive to Southwest 72nd Avenue while police responded to the scene. Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
