FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Rescue crews were on the scene of an accident that snarled traffic on Interstate 95 Thursday morning, WSVN reports.
A total of eight cars were involved in the crash on I-95 south near Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale at about 6:40 a.m. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating to determine whether one of the drivers was going in the wrong direction on the interstate.
No serious injuries were reported, with some people in the cars treated at the scene and refusing transport to hospitals.
All but one lane was shut down in the area, causing backups during the morning rush hour.
