The community of Pembroke Pines is a little safer after a local martial arts studio was found to have a hidden camera in the bathroom.

WSVN.com reports that Master Franco’s Taekwondo Academy is owned by 64-year-old Robert Franco. The camera was discovered by a 17-year-old student at the school, who then contacted the police.

She “had the wherewithal and the courage to … identify that these hidden cameras were detected,” said Pembroke Pines Police Capt. Adam Feiner.

After the teen discovered the camera Franco attempted to destroy them the report says.

Apparently, the cameras have been in place and recording since at least March 2001.
