Hickey Law Firm Partners Honored with Miami-Dade Bar Circle of Excellence Awards

Hickey Law Firm is honored to announce that two of our partners, Sarah A. Lobel and Lisa C. Goodman, have been recognized by the Miami-Dade Bar for two different categories of the 2025 Miami-Dade Bar Circle of Excellence Awards. Sarah Lobel was recognized in the area of Personal Injury. Lisa Goodman was recognized in the area of Maritime and Transportation. These awards honor attorneys who “demonstrate exceptional performance within Florida’s legal profession.” The Miami-Dade Bar uses peer nominations and peer reviews to select honorees. That means that the attorneys in Miami-Dade County select the recipients of the awards. We are proud of Sarah Lobel and Lisa Goodman for their achievements and their intense commitment to our clients and the legal profession.

Honoree Spotlight: Sarah A. Lobel

Sarah earned the award for her work in personal injury law. As a former Assistant State’s Attorney with more than six years of prosecutorial experience much of which in the elite gang prosecution unit, Sarah is known for her fearless courtroom advocacy. She now represents clients in personal injury, motor vehicle, cruise ship, recreational boating, and jet ski accident cases. Her work has earned other prestigious accolades, including being named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Plaintiffs’ Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Litigation.

Honoree Spotlight: Lisa C. Goodman

Lisa earned recognition for her work in Maritime/Transportation Law. Her background includes years of civil rights litigation. Lisa now fights for victims in personal injury, transportation, maritime, and cruise ship accident cases. Lisa previously earned a place on the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list for her dedicated work in Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.
