MassLive.com reports that 45-year-olf Adam Damian Panetta was arrested in 2019 and charged with cruise ship assault after having being accused of severely beating a woman while aboard the ship.

Video evidence showed Panetta pull the woman down the hallway by the hair and strike her in the head twice. He also kicked the woman twice. The attack left the victim unconscious.

The pair reportedly went to the ship’s infirmary sometime later, where the woman was given stitches for a laceration.

Panetta pled guilty to charges stemming from the beating. On Wednesday he was sentenced to two months in prison, two years supervised release and a $1,0000 fine.
