Broward County Crash Leaves One Dead and Three Seriously Injured

A car crash in Broward County left a woman dead and several others injured early Saturday morning.

Local10.com reports that the crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-95 near the exit for Sheridan Street. Apparently, two vehicles were involved in a traffic collision and stopped on the inside lane of I-95. After a driver and passenger from both of the vehicles exited the cars, a third vehicle crashed into one of the cars that was involved in the earlier crash, hitting the four people that were standing outside.

The force of the crash killed one of those standing outside and seriously injured three.

Florida Highway Patrol only identified the person driving the third vehicle as being a 39-year-old man.

Authorities have not given any update as to the victim’s identities or the condition of the survivors.
