Cruise Companies Frequently Say Missing Passengers “Jumped” from the Ships

Every year dozens of cruise ship and large ferry passengers go missing. It is common for cruise companies, in an attempt to jump out ahead of the stories, to quickly plant the idea with the media that the victims jumped from the ship.

The fact that cruise companies want to blame victims for their own deaths is right in line with many of the other dirty tactics used by the cruise industry over the years. It is also a way for the cruise industry to attempt to shirk its responsibility to protect passengers.
