Police say that on May 30 a vehicle fatally struck a man in Miami-Dade County. Now, a surveillance video of the vehicle has been released.

The video shows a blue Dodge Charger traveling down the road in the vicinity of  Northwest 133rd Street and Northwest 22nd Avenue, apparently approaching another vehicle. The Charger allegedly struck 55-year-old Johnnie Cruz who was traveling on a scooter in the area.

According to police the Charger, which they believe to be between model years 2018-2020, fled the scene after striking Cruz. “They knew they hit a person and they just kept going, left him like a dog in the street to just die,” said Cruz’s widow Desiree Martinez.
