A car carrying various minors crashed this weekend, leaving one dead.
Local10.com reports that the driver of the car and all of its passengers were under the legal driving age. The car’s 13-year-old driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a guardrail before going into the water near the Florida Turnpike’s mile marker 47.
One person, a 13-year-old boy named Julian, was killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. Two others, the driver and a 14-year-old passenger, initially left the scene. They were later located and transported to the hospital for treatment.
Julian’s aunt, Jessica Bocanegra, said that Julian was a good kid who did not get into trouble. “My nephew didn’t get a reflection, my nephew didn’t get a second chance to live life. He is gone” she said.
